Traditional Fine Wines
Galloping Goose estate wines are grown on the vineyard's rolling hills and bottled in our old wagon shed. Here in Carroll County, in the early 1950's, Hamilton Mowbray began a Maryland wine tradition, with the planting of Seyval Blanc, Cabernets, and Chardonnay. The terroir is just right. This long history is carried on today at Galloping Goose Vineyards, creating fine wines from Maryland grapes. We have focused our efforts on fine, traditional wines with structure and balance, designed in the style of Bordeaux and the historic wine growing regions of the world.
